Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome! I wanted to send you this letter to welcome you and your young person to our group and introduce you to what we do and how we run the Moulton Adventure Group. We are a charity youth group that has been running since 1969. We encourage young people to explore the outdoors and develop their confidence and skills in an outdoor and indoor setting. During the winter months we try and get outside as much as possible, going on walks, weekends away, however we do also love an inside team building game! Our outdoor summer activities include climbing, kayaking, mountaineering and our yearly summer camp. We have three sections to the group; Eagles (Ages 8-11) Adventure Unit (Ages 11-14) and Duke of Edinburgh (Ages 14-18).
Uniform
We expect all members of our group to wear a Moulton Adventure Group uniform. The Uniform for is available HERE, please bring the form and the money for the uniform on your first group night. Your child will not have their uniform for a few weeks until the order comes in, however please don’t worry about it for the first few weeks. Comfy trousers and trainers are great to wear on a group night as they will be doing lots of running around.

Subs
Every child needs to pay (by standing order) a Monthly subscription for the duration of the time your child in in the group.
To this end, will you please initiate a standing order to our bank account.
The Subs for 2024-25 will be £14 per person per month.
If you have 2 young people in the group it will be £25 for both.
Please add their name as a reference when setting this up.
Please note this is a yearly amount to cover membership and is paid in 12 monthly instalments. This subscription covers the running cost of our facilities and insurance for your young people. Be assured that every penny taken is re-invested back into our charity to cover its costs.
